29 January 2009 - appointment check up kat Antenatal Clinic, PPUM lagik. Just hari nih, berdebar sket pasal tau kena buat GCT (Glucose Challenge Test), amik darah lepas minum air glukos. So, malam tu memang tak bleh tido la... terpikir macam2.. ye ye.. saya memang penakut kalau bab-bab amik darah ni..
7.45am - Amik number untuk bayar duit Rawatan susulan = RM6.
8.15am - Ke Ruang Menunggu B untuk check up rutin. Masuk kad Biru dalam kotak and tunggu.
8.17am - Hari ni dah bwk sample urine dari umah, so nurse tu puji la sket.. "Very good... " katanya.
Urine dipstix test = OK - normal.
Timbang berat pulak, 59.0 kg.
B.P. = 123/68 - Normal.
8.40am - hubby nak gi keje dah, tinggal saya sorang2 kat spital. Hubby kata nnt dah siap semua, call. Hubby datang amik.
9am - Ingatkan nama nak kena panggil untuk GCTest. Rupanya folder saya dah masuk bilik doktor. So lepas jumpa doktor baru buat GCTest. No. 3114, bilik 2. Doktor perempuan Melayu pulak, agaknya Dr. Lee bilik no. 12 tu cuti CNY lagi kot. Doktor pun pelik, pesal tak dipanggil utk GCTest. Tapi dia kata, lepas jumpa dia nnt buleh gi Bilik No.9 untuk buat GCTest. Sekarang dia nak saya gi baring. Dia check perot, amik measurement, pastu bg dengar heartbeat baby pakai doppler. Kuat betol heartbeat tuh. Lepas tu dia kata saya dah bleh cucuk ATT (Anti Tetanus) hari nih. Dia bagi prescription vit and Folic Acid. Lepas dah amik darah nanti, jumpa dia untuk amik Time Slip. Then jumpa lagi in next 3 weeks. Saya pun catit la... GCT, ATT, time slip.
9.14am - Dengan borang GCT ditangan, slowly saya berjalan ke bilik no.9. Ada sorang staff nurse tengah bancuh air glucose. Dia senyum, amik borang then bagi saya secawan air glucose.
"Eh, susah-susah je bancuh air." Saya melawak je, sebab senyap sangat kat dalam tu. Nurse tu suh saya duduk minum kat dalam bilik. Ada lagi 2 orang tengah minum kat dalam bilik tu, sorang tu dah wek wek wek minum air glucose tu. Teruk sangat ke rasanya? Hmm.. saya tanya kat sorang lagi yang tengah minum dengan perlahan.. "Sedap tak?" "Manis..." katanya. Dengan lafaz Bismillah, saya pun cuba la teguk air glucose suam tu. Loh... SEDAP! Rasa Milo. Sekejap je saya abis kan. Tak la teruk sangat rasa dia... saya start minum tadi 9.15am, so kul 10.15am nanti saya kena datang balik ke bilik no.9 tu untuk amik darah.
9.18am - Saya lupa pulak kat mana tempat untuk cucuk ATT. Saya kluar gi kaunter tanya, kat mana tempat cucuk ATT? Bilik no.9. Oh? Bilik no.9 jugak... patut la saya nampak folder saya kat situ tadi.. hehehehe.. saya pun pegi la balik ke Bilik no.9.. kali ni untuk cucuk ATT pulak. Sebelum kena cucuk kat bahu, nurse tu terangkan pasal ATT injection nih. Lepas tu, ia tahan selama 3 tahun. Tak payah cucuk dah. Memandangkan saya right handed, dia cucuk bahu kiri lah, sebab akan lenguh katanya.
9.25am - Selepas bahu kiri dicucuk, nurse tu kata kalau nak ilangkan lenguh, nanti balik, taruk ais cepat-cepat. Tapi saya kena tunggu lagi 45min ni, untuk amik darah. so saya pegang je la dulu kapas basah tu kat bahu kiri. Lenguh. Bila dah kurang lenguhnya, saya pun duduk layan DS dulu.. sementara nak tunggu kul 10.30am.. susah jugak nak main DS sebelah tangan. Hehehe..
10.15am - Saya kembali melangkah ke Bilik no.9 untuk amik darah. Ada 2 orang tengah tunggu turn, saya duduk dulu. Tunggu. Doktor perempuan Cina yang amik darah tu peramah, sembang2 dulu sebelum dia nak cucuk. Tak de la main cucuk jek. Dah sampai turn saya, saya hulur tangan kiri yg baru kena cucuk ATT tadi. Saya sebuleh2nya tak nak pandang ke jarum tuh, saya sibuk belek gambar ultrasound baby saya Sabtu lepas dalam buku catatan. Ok, dah siap! Cekap jugak doktor ni. Lega.
Lepas tu masuk bilik no.2, jumpa doktor untuk amik time slip seperti yang dijanjikan. Then gi Kaunter 2 kat depan untuk buat next appointment another 3 weeks and buat bayaran untuk GCT. Next appointment 19 Feb 2009.
Results GCT pulak bleh tau besok. Call je untuk tau results.

Pegi lepas lunch, dalam kul 1pm camtu.Dr. Rabiatul Dr. Izatul (corrected on 19Oct2010 :D) yang reti tengok perot tu ada. Tunggu sekejap jek, pastu no.0141 kena panggil. Masuk dalam bilik doktor ngan hubby, trus cakap nak scan, nak tau laki ke pompuan... doktor tu gelak2 ajek...
Dr: "Anak first ke?" - saya angguk.
Dr: "Ni mesti kes nak start beli barang le nih, nak tau kena beli pink ke biru, kan?" - angguk lagi
Dr: "Nak start cari nama untuk baby eh?" - anguk angguk angguk.
Dr: "Hmm tak sure la bleh nampak ke tidak, selalunya kalau cakap nak tengok, baby tak bagi nampak.. bila diam2 je kata tak nak tengok, baru baby tunjuk... "
Dr: "Saya teka.... pompuan. Jom kiter tengok..."
Doktor letak je probe tu kat pusat... trus nampak tulang kaki dia. Antara 2 tulang kaki tu, nampak dah....
Dr: "Kompom pompuan !! Tu tengok, 3 line. Kalau lelaki, dah lama nampak tergantung2.."
Dr: "OK, dah... dah bleh gi beli gaun comel2 dah... Pompuan banyak sket baju cantik2 boleh pilih.."
Lepas abis scan, semuanya looks fine, soklan dah terjawab.. doctor pun bagi image di atas sebagai kenangan. Untuk makluman, imej di atas ialah imej ukuran kepala dan tulang femur, bukan sebarang imej lucah, OK.

Week 28 - Super tired..
How's My Baby?
By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can open and close her eyes, which now sport lashes. This movement is more of a reflexive blink than a deliberate opening and closing, but it won't be long before she's batting those beauties at you.

Minggu ni berat dah cecah 57kg. Terasa jugak berat nak bawak badan sendiri ke hulu ke hilir. Kaki ok lagi, takde tanda2 nak bengkak. Baby dalam nih makin lasak, or perutku yang makin sempit? Setiap kali dia bergerak, WOW... kekadang geli, kekadang sakit jugak dibuatnya.
Sabtu lepas call doctor Klinik Family SS tuh, nak buat appointment nak scan ultrasound la kunun. Sekali doktor tu kata mesin ultrasound nya gi hantar repair, blom balik2 lagik.

Week 27 - A super busy week for superMom
Fetal Development:
This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended. She's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother her, so just relax and enjoy the tickle.

How's Mom doing:
The second trimester is drawing to a close, but as your body gears up for the final lap, you may start noticing some new symptoms. Along with an aching back, for example, you may find that your leg muscles cramp up now and then. They're carrying extra weight, after all, and your expanding uterus is putting pressure on the veins that return blood from your legs to your heart as well as on the nerves leading from your trunk to your legs. Unfortunately, the cramps may get worse as your pregnancy progresses. Leg cramps are more common at night but can also happen during the day. When a cramp strikes, stretching the calf muscle should give you some relief. Straighten your leg and then gently flex your toes back toward your shin. Walking for a few minutes or massaging your calf sometimes helps, too.

Week 26 - Eye see you !!!
fetus in sixth month At long last, your little swimmer can see the womb! Your miracle’s little eyelids have finally separated (they were fused closed previously) and they’re probably having their first moments of sight as you read this (or maybe it already happened while you were brushing your teeth or watching Oprah or something). In addition to seeing their little studio in your belly, they’ve recently acquired the ability to say “yes” and “no” in rudimentary sign language as they can now move their head back and forth. This is also the time where your little super star’s head hair is starting to grow! A cute little cowlick or two may be springing into position right now, getting ready for years of cute-but-stubborn bed-head. Also, their toenails have grown in and you little raisin continues to slowly pile up fat beneath their still-loose skin. Most importantly, brain tissue and neurons are all developing at a rapid pace, increasing their (genius-level?) brain activity and will continue to function at accelerated levels for the first seven to eight years of childhood!
